The buttonholes are based on a very beautiful camellia from the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, with the flower being handmade in Italy to a bespoke design from fine capodimonte porcelain.  Each camellia or rose exhibits fine detailing on the petals and the collection is available in classic ivory (the natural porcelain colour) or blush pink colours.

The clasp on the back of the flower, which is also a bespoke design by Boutonniere, is designed to hold the lapel firmly without piercing the fabric, but is also discreet enough so that only the flower can be seen when worn.  The clasp, handmade in Sheffield by a company of cutlers, is available in either a highly polished stainless steel or 925 sterling silver and each Boutonniere is packaged in an individual bespoke presentation box, making it the perfect gift.

Boutonnière of London was established in 2013 by Christopher Harrap, a Yorkshireman turned Londoner who left the corporate world to pursue his idea to combine chic handmade buttonhole accessories with a beautiful gift for grooms and their groomsmen. With a real passion for design, tailoring and craftsmanship, Christopher sourced the very best materials and artisans to turn this concept into reality, having with the entire item handmade in Italy and Sheffield, before being assembled and finished in London.
Christopher said: ‘”The collection offers something a touch different for the whole wedding party. We have worked hard to create a buttonhole for the groom, groomsmen, father of the bride and father of the groom, which is designed to be a perfect keepsake.  We offer a full engraving service to make the gift more personal, which is popular with clients, who have the back of the clasp engraved with the wedding date, their initials or even a personal message for each person. It can also make a perfect wedding day gift from the bride to her husband-to-be that is chic, original and special.”
